Welcome to the Information Ninja Blog

I am a graduate student in library and INFORMATION science. No, the capitalization of "information" was no mistake. It's not that I dislike "library" but I just feel that it has received too much attention. I'm not in library school because "I love books." In fact I don't think anyone who lists that as a reason should be in library school. I think they should join a book club and let that be it.

I love books. What are you saying? That I shouldn't be a librarian if I can tell kids which books I loved at their age?

I'm looking forward to following your INFORMATION, then. What will you be writing about?
I still love books, but I wouldn't want to marry one!

What INFORMATION will you be giving us mere mortals on your blog, oh IS (Information Scientist, of course!)

But what if you are thinking of going to library school because you love books and want to work where the books live? Does that make you a bad person?

Book lovers often love books because they contain valuable information in a neat, tidy, portable package.

Different approach, same outcome.
